Standard Operation
- ORIENTATION
a. Enemy Forces: The Taliban insurgency is operating in Hazar-Kot Valley, using Hazar-Kedh as their Stronghold and are using tactics including IEDs, ambushes, and human shields. They have fortified positions and concealed weapons caches. Intelligence confirms the presence of a high-value target (HVT) along with an ammunition cache and two media hostages being held in a Taliban stronghold.
b. Friendly Forces: U.S. Army forces consist of conventional infantry, special operations units, aviation assets, and logistical support.
Godfather(“Base”) & Legion(“Hogtie”): The Main Force that will Disrupt the Taliban Stronghold.
ESPER(“Windstalker”): Target designator for “Skyguard” and provide Ground Reconnaisance.
ACP & Cavscout(“Warpigs”): Provides Ground transportation, and Armor-to-Armor Recon.
ACE(“Skyguard”): Provide MEDEVAC, Air Transport, Air support and Air Reconnaisance.
c. Terrain & Weather: Hazar Kot Valley consists of rugged mountainous terrain with narrow passes and sparse vegetation. Weather conditions include extreme temperature during Day Time, affecting mobility and visibility.
- SITUATION
Enemy Forces(Salute Report):With the war against the Taliban and the U.S Army are coming to an End. Supreme Leader Zalzalako Uzim Fakdadi and his Forces were forced to entrenched within the valley, utilizing the terrain for cover and concealment. They have reinforced compounds and are expected to resist with small arms fire, RPGs, and IEDs. The HVT is suspected to be in a heavily guarded location.
a. Size: Estimation 100-250 insurgents with an adittional 200 as QRF stationed inside an Industrial Bunker.
b. Activity: Fakdadi’s foot soldier keeps a consistent and tight schedule patrol around Hazar-Kedh and a daily check-up on Ammo Cache.
c. Location: Hazar-Kedh
d. Unit: MG infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Patrols, Anti-Tank Infantry, MANPADs and MG Nest.
e. Time: 0800H, Talibans conduct patrols around Hzar-Kedh
f. Equipment: T-34’s, T-55’s, RPGs, DShK, ZU-23-S, AK-47, Technicals, IGLA’s, Static MGs.
- MISSION
U.S. Army forces will conduct a direct action operation in Hazar-Kot Valley no later than (PhST) 2100H. The mission objectives are to capture or eliminate an HVT, destroy the Taliban’s ammunition cache, and rescue two media hostages held within the AO. This operation will degrade Taliban operational capabilities and enhance regional stability.
- EXECUTION
a. Commander’s Intent:
The purpose of this operation is to neutralize Taliban leadership, remove their combat effectiveness by destroying their ammunition supply, and safely recover the hostages. Success is defined by the elimination or capture of the HVT, destruction of enemy weapons caches, and extraction of hostages without U.S. casualties.
b. Concept of Operations:
Phase 1: Insertion & Reconnaissance – “Base”, “Warpigs”, “Windstalker”, & “Hogtie” will infiltrate the AO under the cover of Light to Heavy Armor Transportation, establish observation posts (Optional), and confirm the location of the HVT, hostages, and ammunition cache.
Phase 2: Assault & Secure – Conduct simultaneous assaults on enemy positions, neutralize resistance and the HVT, and secure hostages.
Phase 3: Demolitions & Extraction – Secure and destroy the ammunition cache using precision charges and or with the help of “Skyguard”. Extract hostages to a secured landing zone (LZ) for medical evaluation.
Phase 4: Exfiltration – Extricate forces inside the AO, Return to Base and Reorganize wounded and casualty.
Coordinating Instructions:
Rules of Engagement (ROE): Engage only positively identified threats to minimize civilian casualties.
Reporting requirements: SITREPs every 1 hour.
Medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) priority established for hostages and wounded personnel.

Ensure proper identification of combatants to prevent civilian casualties.

Prioritize hostage safety during extraction operations.
