1. Situation

a. Enemy Forces: Federation of Central Usea / People’s Commune of Comberth / Yuktobania
Size: Brigade to Division size
Activity: Conventional.
Location: Emerald Basin, Comberth
Unit and Type: Full combined arms.
Time: Afternoon.

b. Friendly Forces:
Higher’s Mission and Intent: Capture the city of Zelengorsk, denial of sector supply.

Adjacent Units: 1st “Blue Diamond” Marine Division, 3rd AABn & 5th Marines (Osean Federation), 432nd Fighter Wing, 4th Fighter Squadron (OASDF, non-player)

Supporting Units: Nagoyakan 7th Wing, 8th Squadron “Midnight Cruisers” (ACE-FAW), Nagoyakan 4th Armored Division, 13th AAA Regiment, 23rd Anti Air Battery (Base Anti-Air)

2. Mission

Who: 4th Armored “Hagane” Division, 16th Infantry Regiment, Bravo Company
What: Capture specific strongpoints in SECTOR RED.
When: Jan. 4, 1990,
Where: Emerald Basin, Comberth

Why:
Primary Objective(s): Capture and hold the city of Zelengorsk
Secondary Objective(s): Reinforce the Osean Marines, regain the initiative, open new sectors to serve as resupply hubs.
Tertiary Objective(s): Overrun hostile forces in the sector.

3. Execution

a. Commander’s Intent: Deny the enemy of Zelengorsk as a major supply hub and strategic strongpoint.
b. Concept of Operations:

Scheme of Maneuver: Nagoyakan forces are to serve as the spearhead and will coordinate with friendly Osean forces to dislodge hostile forces from the sector. Heavy utilization of air power and artillery in conjunction with utilization of mobility to envelope and destroy the enemy is expected.

c. Tasks to Subordinate Units:

Provide support to the main elements.

d. Coordinating Instructions:

Rules of Engagement: Weapons tight, do not fire unless fired upon.
Movement Formation: Standard combat formations; adjust as necessary based on terrain and threat.
Primary and Alternate Routes: Commanders’ discretion.
Actions on Contact: Engage and eliminate threat, secure area, and report to highest command officer in immediate area of operations.
Rally Points: Commanders’ discretion; briefed prior to mission start.

5. Command and Signal

a. Signal:
Primary and Alternate Frequencies: Briefed prior mission start.
Smoke signals: Briefed prior mission start.

Call Signs: Hagane - High Command

Challenge and Pass: “Fakk", “yuu”

Check-in Times: Every 30 minutes OR to report success of taking objective.

6. Additional Instructions

  • ACE-FAW will only be restricted to only using the following A2A munitions: AIM-9 (variants), AIM-7 (variants), AIM-120 (variants), and AAM-3 for timeframe/lore reasons umu. OPFOR will be adjusted to also have the same timeframe limitations. No limit on A2G munitions o7.
  • Coordinating orders with supporting elements (PJSF - NPC unit) shall be conducted through Regimental/Brigade command.
  • No Teleports. In event where FAW 100% cannot handle reinserts and there are no vehicle-based reinserts available, ACE Command / and GCE command must agree to request for adjacent unit reinsert (NPC reinsert). Only game crashes will be allowed TPs.
  • 50 will be the ONLY “ZEUS” net, all requests must be as if you’re requesting from Brigade or Divisional command.
