It is said that a shadowy organization known as 'The Cartel' is planning to use a powerful experimental weapon, 'DJC Phantom,' to destabilize the region and further its goals. Their plan is to use the weapon to eliminate former President of South Africa, Nedson Bandera, a powerful symbol of freedom in the region. Former President Bandera is scheduled to give a speech on April 27, Freedom Day, in Malawi, north of Mutambara. The US has been working to establish a peaceful relationship with South Africa since the 1990s and is tasked with providing regional security before the Freedom Day speech. An informant has revealed that the Cartel plans to attack the former President with an experimental weapon. Bandera was released from the hospital on April 6, 2013, after 9 days, making him vulnerable to a strike. US forces in the region are tasked with neutralizing the threat before it can happen. On October 21, 2012, the CEO of Shenzhen DJC Technologies, Frank Bang, was mysteriously kidnapped. DJC is known for developing drones and was set to launch them commercially in 2013. It is believed that the Cartel may be involved in his disappearance.
